Her Majesty's gracious confirmation and allowance, the following Ordinance entitled "An Ordinance for preserving an authentic record of the Ordinances of the Colony and for other purposes." (N. 31 of 1886).

I have examined the accompanying Ordinance, entitled "An Ordinance for preserving an authentic record of the Ordinances of the Colony and for other purposes," and I am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to the Governor's instructions.
The object of this Ordinance is to provide an authentic record of all the Ordinances which have been passed in this Colony and to secure the due transmission to the Registrar of the Supreme Court of all Ordinances, Rules, and Regulations hereafter to be passed or made.
